The EAO AG was founded in 1947 in Olten (Switzerland). Since then, the
company has developed into a multinational group - a "global player".

The development of EAO from a manufacturer of components only to a
system vendor over the past few years reflects the necessity to find
technically and commercially optimal solutions for the increasingly complex
requirements at the man-machine interface. Thus, EAO has evolved from a
supplier of componentry to a highly specialised partner in the field of
operating, control and signalling systems.
