Koyo Terminator I/O Terminator
I/O is the ideal solution for our SoftPLC systems
(and others) as a flexible distributed I/O system.
Features includes hot-swap of modules, easy
exchange between different I/O types because of
the modular design and even the possibility to
change network type, powersupply type or extending
the I/O node with extra rows of I/O’s. Network
modules include Ethernet with the well-known Host
IP protocol (also used in the older 205/405 EBC
series) and Modbus TCP protocol, which can be used
simultaneously. Optional communication modules
include as well as Ethernet also DeviceNet,
Modbus, Koyo remote I/O and Profibus (released
autumn 2001). With the Terminator I/O, all the
Koyo PLC’s can be extended with slave I/O racks.
Simply add a master controller in the Koyo rack
and ad distributed Terminator I/O blocks as
needed.
