Remote
master
The Remote Masters are special hardware devices
offering
remote networking.
The Remote Master, and Remote Master Gateway
features a
Bitbus port, enabling a local network of Bitbus Slaves on the
Remote site. The Slavemodules can run as either distributed
I/O or as slave units running
their own distributed program.

Additional, Remote Masters are equipped with a
Modbus
Slave port, enabling two-way communication and
data-
transmission to a
central monitoring PC via PSTN, GSM/GPRS
or Radiomodem.
If connected slaves are equipped with data logging
facility,
data can be extracted from the individual slaves through the
Remote
master even via PSTN or GSM/GPRS.
