Brodersen updates its corporate image
21.08.2006
Brodersen changes its name to Brodersen
Automation and strengthen its identity with a new logo and unified
visual profile.
Brodersen Teknik A/S in Denmark changes its name to Brodersen Automation
A/S. At the same time the two subsidiaries in Norway and Sweden changes
their names from Brodersen Industriautomasjon AS to Brodersen
Automation AS and from Brodersen Industriautomation AB to Brodersen
Automation AB. By using the same name in all three markets Brodersen
wishes to reinforce its already strong position national and
internationally.
“We are in a highly competitive market, but with a clear and uniform
profile we will be able to firmly position the company in the
customer’s mind. Using the same name in all three markets also
emphasizes the fact that we more and more work across the three
countries taking advantage of the employees’ expertise regardless of
nationality and geography. We are one organization and one network”,
says Jens Brodersen, CEO Brodersen Automation A/S.
One name ties the organization together.
As many other companies Brodersen has during the years used different
names and profiles for its subsidiaries and business units trying to
distinguish its different offerings to the customers. However by
introducing the new common name and profile Brodersen wishes to simplify
and strengthen its communication to the customers. Brodersen Automation
is the only brand.

“As the companies grew we introduced new names and units, but today I
can see that it clearly was not the way to build a strong brand. We have
therefore decided to brand all parts of the organization under just one
name, thereby creating one strong unit” ends Jens Brodersen.
