Descpription:

Hydrochloric or sulphuric acid, oils, milk - no problem! The Teflon®-PFA sheathed optical fibres are resistant to many aggressive media. For example, the FUL 200D2Y00 in contact with the liquid, the non-contact optical fibre FSC 200C4Y00 with lateral optics, and the FLC 200D2Y00 with axial optics can each be used to measure the level of a liquid chemical.

The tip of the FUL 200D2Y00 is designed to prevent drops from forming. This ensures correct level measurement at all times. The optical fibre is intrinsically safe as only light is used to convey information and no other electronic components are involved.

The fibre tips are also very small and can be used everywhere, even in confined spaces. Monitoring is conducted outside the chemically aggressive zone by remotely located amplifiers.
