Descpription:
Sturdy housings manufactured of food-safe V4A-stainless steel
enclose both electronics and active face of the new DuroProx-sensors
like a protective armor.
Clever design that renders the DuroProx-sensors extremely rugged
which is an asset when exposed to abusive mechanical and chemical
influences. Even applications in heavily soiled and chemically
aggressive environments do not challenge the inductive proximity
sensors contained in sturdy shells.
The extended temperature range of -25°...+100 °C, combined with an
IP 69K protection class, enables them to withstand harshest
wash-down procedures which they are regularly exposed to in the food
processing industry. Designed to tackle EMI levels as outlined in EN
61000-6-2 further guarantees a reliable operation, even in highly
EMI-contaminated environments.
The quasi flush mountable sensors feature sensing distances up to 6
mm despite an active face made of V4A stainless steel. DuroProx-full
metal sensors are available in four sizes: threaded M8x1, M12x1 and
M18x1 cylindrical enclosures as well as dia 6,5 mm smooth barrel
housings. Vibration proof connectors round off the profile of this
outspokenly industry compatible sensor family.
