About
us
Mission
Our
mission is to supply the industry with automation
components
and systems, combined with technical support and other
services
related to our products.
It is our aim to be a competent partner to our customers.
In order
to achieve this we constantly develop our range of
products,
competence and services.
History
Brodersen Teknik A/S started in 1969 as a supplier of
electrical and electronic automation components. From here
we have developed both our product range and know-how in
accordance with the
technical evolution.
With the head office in Denmark and from the late 80s
also subsidiaries in both Norway and Sweden Brodersen
Teknik A/S today caters for the Scandinavian automation
market.
In august 2006 the corporate image was updated and
Brodersen as well as the two subsidiaries in Norway and
Sweden changed name to Brodersen Automation to strengthen
the identity with a new logo and a unified visual profile. By
using the same name in all three markets Brodersen wished
to reinforce its already strong position national and
internationally.
In 2007 Brodersen Automation was acquired by Beijer
Electronics, through the Automation business area.
− The acquisition is a step in our aggressive move into
the Danish market. This is enabled through the agreement
with Mitsubishi Electric, where we took over their
agencies in Denmark, Finland and the Baltic states from
January 1, 2007. Brodersen Automation grants us a broad
and valuable customer base in Denmark while also allowing
us a more comprehensive range of products for the entire
Nordic and Baltic market, says Beijer Electronics CEO
Gφran Sigfridsson.
As a natural
result of the
acquisition
Brodersen
Automation in Sweden
has merged
in to Beijer Electronics Automation Sweden as well as
Brodersen
Automation in Norway
has merged in to Beijer Electronics Norway
by
1. september 2007.
Organisation
Our Scandinavian organisation is build to ensure both
efficiency and
closeness to our customers.
In
order to stay cost effective and focused all the back
office
functions of the group such as IT, finance, marketing and
logistics
are situated at head office. However to maintain a high
degree of
service and reliability the subsidiaries also carry an
emergency
stock on key products. Orders received in the sales
offices are
passed on electronically to the central stock, which means
that
orders normally are shipped on a daily basis.
Furthermore
because we think it is very important to have a close
relationship to our customers there are customer service
and
technical support centres in the sales offices in both
Denmark,
Norway and Sweden.
